3D Nodes Land on the Canvas

3D comes to the canvas as a first-class node this week — drop in a GLB or generate a model from text, an image, or multiple views, then share, refine, and organize it like any other asset. There's also a new video model, a smarter default for FAUNA, and a cleaner way to hand any project off to your coding agent.

New

  1. 3D Nodes

Generate and import 3D directly on the canvas.

    MoreLess

Drop .glb files (up to 10MB) onto the canvas or generate 3D from text, an image, or multiple views of the same object across seven models. Configure topology, quality, PBR, face count, and seeds from the parameters panel, browse saved models with poster previews and a new 3D filter in your library, and share any model on its own page so anyone can orbit and download it.

  2. MiniMax H3

A new video model for text-, image-, and reference-to-video.

    MoreLess

Generate from a prompt, animate a still, set first and last frames, or steer motion with combinable image, video, and audio references — all from a single model on the canvas.

  3. Open in Agent

Hand any project to your coding agent in one click.

    MoreLess

A redesigned launcher deep-links straight into Claude Code, ChatGPT / Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client with a prefilled prompt, so you can drive your canvas from the tools you already use.

Improved

  1. FAUNA now runs on Gemini 3.7 Flash by default

A smarter, faster, and more cost-efficient default across Create and Canvas, with Gemini 3.6 Flash also available to select.

  2. Image metadata

View an asset's EXIF / IPTC / XMP right from the toolbar and see human-readable metadata in your library.

    MoreLess

Downloads and exports now preserve source metadata by default, so provenance travels with your work.

Fixes

  1. Nano Banana Pro nodes no longer come back identical

Each run samples a fresh seed unless you've pinned one, so your generation history stays varied.

  2. Cropping is undoable again

Cmd / Ctrl+Z reverts a just-committed crop instead of consuming unrelated canvas history.

  3. A canvas that loses its GL context now heals itself

instead of going black until a full reload.

  4. Fashion Studio signups on mobile

land back in the studio after sign-up instead of a generic generate page.

  5. Clearer connection messaging

Flora only blames your network when you're actually offline, and says "Can't reach Flora.

    MoreLess

Reconnecting…" when the issue is on our side.

Fashion Studio Opens to Everyone

This week Fashion Studio goes public — anyone can now try it without an account, complete with a guided first-run tour. We also refreshed the Community page, added a new model and a 1080p option, introduced flexible billing cadences, and shipped a batch of Studio quality-of-life upgrades.

New

  1. Fashion Studio, no account required

Signed-out visitors land in the real workspace, switch tools, fill inputs from ready-made examples, and run preset generations.

    MoreLess

A guided tour covers sketch to render, recolor and fabric swap, try-on, and a five-variant photoshoot, with sign-up prompts only when you're ready to save your own work.

  2. Community, rebuilt

The Community page is reorganized into three clear sections: Virtual Events, Nodecademy, and Workflow Highlights, so it's easier to find sessions, recordings, and featured workflows.

  3. Gemini Flash 3.7

Google's newest Flash text model joins the canvas alongside 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite, giving you a faster, more capable option for text-driven work.

  4. Seedance 2.5 in 1080p

Higher-resolution video is now available across every Seedance 2.5 mode (text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference), so you can render sharper clips without switching models.

  5. Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly billing

Every pricing table now offers all three cadences, making it easier to pick the plan and commitment that fit.

Improved

  1. Zoom and pan video generations

Video now behaves like images in the Studio Editor, with the full zoom cluster and drag, wheel, and keyboard panning while a clip is open.

  2. Import to Studio from your library

Unified Library cards now offer Import to Studio, bringing Assets, History, Unsplash, Drive, and Dropbox items straight into Fashion Studio.

  3. Copy your public Community link

Published projects can share their view-only Community URL (the one with the Clone button) directly from the Publish tab, instead of handing out a workspace invite.

Fixes

  • Large image batches now trim to the 8-image limit instead of failing the entire save.
  • The library sheet stays inside the viewport, and Cmd/Ctrl+F no longer pops open a hovered node's fullscreen preview.
  • Share invites stay usable outside a project

Comments got a major upgrade built for real collaboration — invite external reviewers, comment without an account, and stay in the loop with notifications. Your Library grew up too: it now pulls in PDFs, holds anything you upload over the API or MCP, and lets you rename and trace every asset you save. We also locked down public sharing with password protection, added a side-by-side image comparison viewer to the canvas, and made the Tools menu faster to work with. Plus a healthy round of canvas, Safari, and billing fixes.

📦 New

  1. Comments, rebuilt for collaboration

A major upgrade that turns feedback into a real review workflow.

    MoreLess

@mention workspace members, invite external reviewers by email, and let them comment without a FLORA account — even on view-only links. Reviewers and owners get dashboard and email notifications that jump straight to the relevant thread, and you can attach files, resolve threads, and copy a direct link to any comment.

  2. Figma in your Library

Bring Figma files straight into the unified Library alongside everything else.

    MoreLess

Pull frames and designs from Figma without leaving FLORA, so your source material and your generations live in one place.

  3. PDFs in your Library

Save PDFs, flip through their pages, and bulk-save from any provider tab.

    MoreLess

Page thumbnails and page-by-page navigation make multi-page documents easy to browse.

  4. API & MCP uploads land in your Library

Anything you push over the API or an MCP client now shows up with the rest of your assets, ready to drop on the canvas.

  5. Rename and trace your saved assets

Give saved assets clear names and see exactly where each one came from.

  6. Password-protected share links

Put a passphrase on any public share link, with a reveal toggle and stickier controls.

    MoreLess

Share work with clients and partners while keeping it locked to the people you choose.

  7. Image comparison viewer

Compare two images side by side directly on the canvas to spot the differences between versions.

  8. Techniques on the canvas

Drag a connection onto empty canvas and get relevant technique suggestions right where you dropped it.

🧠 Improved

  1. Faster action previews

Color Grade now runs on the GPU, and Rotate / Flip previews no longer re-encode every frame, so edits feel instant.

  2. A quicker Tools menu

A new Actions section on nodes plus a Recent Actions submenu put your most-used tools one click away.

  3. See a node's cost from its connected media

The canvas now surfaces the price for a node's connected media before you run it.

  4. Auto top-up finishes before you generate

Generations wait for an in-progress top-up instead of failing partway through.

  5. Projects actions on /home

The header actions from Projects now mirror onto /home for a consistent starting point.

  6. Cleaner Shopify linking

Polished the Shopify linking flow and export feedback.

  7. Clearer usage limits

The usage indicator now reflects organization-scoped member limits.

🛠 Fixes

  • Inpaint and outpaint prompts stay editable even when fed by upstream text.
  • Copied action nodes now load and run correctly across workspaces.
  • Draft models accept inputs, and the canvas explains why a connection is refused.
  • Crop works correctly in Safari, and the legacy crop tool is back at the top of the Tools menu.
  • Timeline editor reveals node controls on hover and keeps the mute icon in sync.
  • Document nodes work inside project copies.
  • Searchable menus keep the search field focused as you move through items and submenus.
  • Stuck "pending" generations are now backfilled and resolved.
